Nestled in the corner of Marlinton, West Virginia, “The Birthplace of Rivers,” our location embraces small town charm and downtown access to the Greenbrier River and its adjacent Greenbrier River Trail, West Virginia’s premiere rail to trail conversion.

Our Lodge caters to maintaining privacy and a comfortable atmosphere. Our first floor offers an open floor plan with a full-kitchen and casual sitting area and a wood-burning stove, a sprawling living room with a brick fireplace and vaulted wood ceilings, and a spacious outdoor patio with a brick stove all with creekside views. The property hugs Knapp’s Creek with a large lawn to play by the soothing water, fish for colorful rainbow trout, observe from the stonewall, and enjoy evening bonfires.

The Creekside Suite

Stay a night or stay a week, this spot is a travelers’ repose. This First floor suite offers a serene view with an elevated queen sized bed, a private bath, and a place to unwind. sleeps two.


The Window Room

Our second First Floor Private Room, also situated stream-side offers a simple and luxurious retreat, with a Queen sized bed. Semi-Private Bath. sleeps two.


The Loft

With a stunning view from upstairs, this large loft contains four twin beds, one full bed, and a private bath. After an adventure filled day, open the windows to let the babbling creek lull you to sleep. sleeps 4-6.


How are we handling Lodging?

The Lodge is now offering:

Private Group Rental Options; 2 night minimum.

  • Rent Just One Floor for Up to 4 Guests @ $350/night.

Up to 2 pets are Welcomed with an additional cleaning fee of $75/pet.

Our First Floor accommodates up to four including 2 Private Rooms, each with 1 Queen Bed. The Creekside Suite has a private Full Bathroom and the Window Room utilizes the main hall bath with which it shares an alcove.

OR

The Family Loft Room & its landing encompass the entire second story. It has a private Full Bath with 2 sinks, 4 Twin Beds, and 1 Full Sized Bed. Its landing overlooks the Great Room, but the bedroom itself is walled in from the rest of the house, and has a locking door.   

Rental Includes Increased Access to Guest Amenities.

If you’d prefer to handle your own lunches and dinners during your stay, pack a cooler! We have an Outdoor Charcoal Grill, Fridge & Freezer Space, & Kitchen Appliances for your Use!

Additional Check In Options.

We will be checking-in guests on the back porch, when possible, and will be contacting you via text on your check-in day for your estimated arrival time window. If you are interested in contactless check-in; just let us know! We will provide a key box combo to the paved parking entrance and leave your check-in information and keys for you, in the kitchen, and arrange a time to meet with you at your convenience! 


Now more than ever, cleanliness is our highest priority. You will notice less knick-knacks, and more plants!

Our staff will be limiting our time inside of the Lodge Property during your stay, so that you will not be required to wear a mask in the “common spaces” as they will be private to your group.

Common space surfaces and hightouch items are disinfected by a masked staff member a minimum 2x/day during your stay.
